H ow to make a double gift card holder with theTropical Chic Stamp Set
Project Recipe
Using the Petite Treat framelits with the circle end , cut two Tropical Escape pieces.
Score them on each side of the circle.
Fold over the two sides and adhere overlapping. Fold up the circle and adhere it to the back.
Cut a 10 1/2" x 2 3/4" piece of Blushing Bride card stock. Score the long side at 4 1/4", 4 3/4", 5 1/4", 5 3/4" and 6 1/4".
Accordion fold the score lines. Adhere DSP pockets into the valleys of the folds.
Close the book and fold a piece of Pear Pizzazz Shimmer Ribbon over the closed book so that the ends are on the side of the opening (ready to tie).
Adhere a 2 1/2" x 6" piece of Tropical Escape DSP over the front side, securing the ribbon underneath. Wrap it over the pinched side (accordion fold) and adhere the remaining part to the back side. This will hold the book closed.
Because the back side doesn't reach all the way, you need to adhere another 4" x 2 1/2" piece of DSP over the back side to make it look like one long piece.
Cut two palm fronds - one from Lemon Lime Twist and and from Granny Apple Green.
Punch one end of a 1" x 3 3/4" piece of Melon Mambo DSP with the Banner Triple Punch.
Stamp the palm fronds in Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lime Twist on a 2 1/4" Whisper White circle.
Cut a Melon Mambo scallop edge.
Stamp the sentiment in Melon Mambo on Whisper White card stock. Trim down so that you only have the last two words.
Layer all pieces using dimensionals. Adhere to the front of the book.
Add a few glimmer dots or self-adhesive sequins.
