Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, glow-in-the-dark specialty paper, and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Garden Green Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Pretty Peacock Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of green, gray, and white stripes design from Walk In The Forest 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the stripes are horizontal on the vertical rectangle
- 1-3/4" x 2-1/2" from Old Olive Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 2-1/2" from Glow-In-The-Dark 6" x 6" Specialty Paper
- 1" x 1-3/4" from Glow-In-The-Dark 6" x 6" Specialty Paper
- 7/8" x 1-5/8" from Adhesive Sheets
- 3/4" x 3" from Glow-In-The-Dark 6" x 6" Specialty Paper
As you are ready to stamp using the Tricks & Treats Set, place the cardstock or specialty paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the detailed monster face image from the Tricks & Treats Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the large Glow-In-The-Dark rectangle. Set aside to allow to dry.
Unlock the Happy Labels Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the thin Glow-In-The-Dark paper strip into the left side of the punch (the side of the punch with the larger scallops) as far as it will go and get it centered. Punch.
Mount the "EEK!" sentiment from the Tricks & Treats Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the punched Glow-In-The-Dark strip so it is close to the right edge with the punched edge on the right side. Set aside to allow to dry.
Adhere the Walk In The Forest Designer Paper rectangle to the center of the Pretty Peacock rectangle and then to the front of the Garden Green card.
Mount the set of 3 bats image from the Tricks & Treats Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Pretty Peacock Ink Pad. Stamp it randomly all over the vertical Old Olive rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Change the orientation of the stamp a bit each time, but make sure the bats are mostly upright. Let some of the images go off the edges of the cardstock.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to the smooth side of the 1" x 1-3/4" Glow-In-The-Dark rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the word "boo" die from the Tricks & Treats Dies. Put it on top of the Glow-In-The-Dark rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Glow-In-The-Dark side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the back of the word "boo" cut out. Adhere it to the upper right corner of the card front at a slight angle as shown.
Adhere the "EEK!" sentiment strip to the back of the stamped bats Old Olive rectangle so it sticks out to the right side and is about 1/4" from the bottom. Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off excess Glow-In-The-Dark paper on the left edge as needed.
Adhere the stamped bats/sentiment rectangle to the front of the card in the lower left corner as shown.
Pick out the open monster head die from the Tricks & Treats Dies. Put it on top of the stamped monster head on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the monster head cut out to the front of the card so it is centered over the bats rectangle as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 3 glow-in-the-dark bats from the sheet of Glow-In-The-Dark Bats & Ghosts making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them randomly to the front of the card.
