Project Recipe
Cut one 5 1/2" x 10 1/2" piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock for base. Using your Stampin' Trimmer score at 1 1/4"score at 21/2", 4 1/4", 6" & 8 1/4".
Fold the cardstock mountain/valley style to create card base. To decorate as shown...
Moving from back to front my card is finished as follows; I stamped a 5 3/8 x 2 1/8 piece of Crushed Curry CS using the manifest stamp from The Open Seas stamp set and Crushed Curry ink. This was the mat for the base. I used a piece of Typeset DSP to stamp the compass from the same set & Ink. Then punched it out with the 1 1/4 circle punch. I backed it with a 1 3/8" circle of Curry CS . The ship from Traveler set was stamped on a piece of Very Vanilla CS in Smokey Slate then accented with a Cherry Cobbler Marker and sponged with Island Indigo Ink. I die cut the ship & frame with the Oval Framelits. These were mounted using Snail.
The middle "Step" is matted in a 5 3/8 x 1 1/2 piece of Bohemian DSP . Both the Passport & Globe are from Traveler Stamp set. I stamped my Passport on a scrap of Vanilla using my Memento Ink Pad then fussy cut and mounted with Stampin Dimensionals. The Globe is stamped on Crushed Curry in Memento Ink & fussy cut. It is mounted with Dimensionals onto circles of Blackberry Bliss & Typeset DSP. The circles are punched out with the 2 1/2" & 2" circle punches. .
The last "step" if matted with a 5 3/8 x 1 piece of Typeset Dsp. I mated the cut apart from Come Away with Me (Graphic 45) on a scrap of Basic Black Card stock and wrapped it several times with Linen Thread finished with a simple knot with tails.
