I love to have little treats like this to put in my daughter's lunch bag or in my son's car. These adorable boxes go together so quickly and are the perfect size to give to your mail person, UPS driver or anyone as a quick little thank you or just to put a smile on someones face.
Project Recipe
Before assembling the box take the box top (it is slightly larger than the bottom) and the curvy sentiment die and die cut the window. I held the die in place with a post-it note and ran it through my Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine several times.
Once you have the die cut adhere from the inside the clear window sheet over the opening.
Assemble box
Die cut the following images:
Black web (cut in half)
Black tree
Black fence
Gorgeous Grape witches hat
Pumpkin Pie small tag
Gorgeous Grape small tag
Stamp sentiment on Smokey Slate card stock and die cut with long rectangular die.
Punch a small hole on the left side. (I used my Take Your Pick tool)
Adhere all three tags together with a glue dot.
Thread black twine through the hole of the tags and with a glue dot adhere to the top right corner of the right side of the box.
Assembly:
Assemble as shown
Use multipurpose glue to adhere: tree, fence, web and ribbon.
For the ribbon I put a small bead of glue on the web and stuck the ribbon to it then trimmed the ribbon.
Cut the jack-o-lantern from the DSP. Adhere the jack-o-lantern and witches hat with small dimensionals.
On the witches hat I colored the band black with a Stampin' Blend marker and used a gold gel pen to color the buckle.
Apply the Cute Stars as desired
Candies, I used Hershey's Nuggets inside my treat box. I cut strips of DSP 1" x 3 1/2" and wrapped around the candies before arranging in the box.
