Project Recipe
I started with 8.5 X 11 piece of cardstock in crushed curry cut in half on the 11 inch side at 5.5.
I then score on the 8.5 inch side at 4.25. This will give you 2 card bases
I then cut my mat (blackberry bliss) at 5.25.X 4 adhere to card base
My DSP (designer series paper) was cut at 5 X 3.75 I used Peaceful Poppies DSP adhere to blackberry bliss mat
I used a small strip of the backside of this DSP to adhere to the front 4 inch by 3/4 inch
I stamped my sentiment on a piece of crumb cake 2 3/4 by 2 inch strip and used the tailored tag punch to banner cut. You could just cut banner end with scissors. I used the sentiment Thinking of you with all my heart from Peaceful Moments stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink. Popped sentiment up with dimensionals..
Finishing touches.
I used the elements Peaceful Poppy Elements and colored the back of the poppy flowers and leaves with stamping blends in colors dark Poppy Parade and Mossy meadow. I used tombow glue on leaves and stampin dimensionals on the flowers. I adhered my ribbon crinkled seam binding in white and put a sequin in middle of the flower (Peaceful Poppies Sequins) with a glue dot
Inside of card was stamped on a piece of whisper white cut at 5,25 by 4.0
I used the sending well wishes from Dandelion Wishes stamp set
There it is beautiful easy card!
