A combination of the Gang’s All Meer and a mountain scene.
Project Recipe
Card Stock:
Gray Granite card base cut at 8.5” X 5.5”, scored and folded at 4.25”
Basic Gray layer cut at 4 1/8” X 5 3/8”
Whisper White cut at 4” X 5.25” for the front; 4 1/8” X 5 3/8” for inside.
Stamping:
* Mountains - I stamped 3 times using first and second generation ink for the silhouette side of the mountain stamp and once for the detailed stamp. Ink is Early Espresso.
* Trees - I used the detail tree stamp and stamped twice, the second offset, both times using first generation ink. I used Mossy Meadow ink. I took my blender pen to pick up a little ink to cover any spots that were white. I think it turned out looking like mist.
* The Meerkats are stamped at the bottom, first the group and then single one. Using my blender pen I pulled ink from the Meerkats and blended toward the middle.
* I used a Crumb Cake (light) marker for the prairie,
* I sponged Balmy Blue onto the top before stamping the sentiment and birds. The birds use first, second and third generation ink.
* I pulled the grass stamp from the High Tide Stamp Set, but could have used a marker to draw a few clumps.
Putting your card together:
* Adhere the inside piece to your card base.
* Adhere the stamped layer to your Basic Gray layer and adhere to the card base.
After taking the photograph I felt the Meerkats and lizard could use a little something - Wink of Stella to the rescue!
Envelope is also stamped with Meerkats.
