T his fun fold was done for my weekly live. I used the Stampin' UP! SAB set Thanks A Bunch and the Day At The Farm paper.
Project Recipe
Your base is 5 1/2 x 11"
I cut this to fit our 8 1/2 x 11" paper so my measurements are not as simple as if my paper was 12 x 12 like most of the tutorials I saw.
Score at 4 1/4, 5 15/16, 7 5/8 and 9 5/16"
Turn the paper so the short edge is along the top.
Put the edge at 1 1/2" and cut from the last score line to the first score line. (so from the 9 5/16 down to the 5 15/16" line)
You want to repeat this cut again so you are cutting from the other edge in 1 1/2".
This will cut a piece loose so that you can push this piece outward and the other two pieces inward.
Go ahead and crease all your score lines. You will have the two full pieces and then the one you cut. So the top and bottom will push inward or to the left side of the card and the other will push outward toward the right side of the card when it is closed.
Now you can put on your designer series paper.
Two strips for the first and third panel cut to 1 1/2 x 5 3/8"
Four small pieces for the sections on the inner two panels that push inward. They measure
1 1/2 x 1 3/8"
The panel that pushes outward to the right will get a solid layer on it and it will go over the top of the DSP. You could put these on first and then the DSP if you wanted a smaller panel to work with and it will hide under the full strip. I chose to keep mine the full size of the area and put on top of the DSP.
Pear Pizzazz layer is 2 3/8 x 3 1/8" and you need two
Basic White is on top of that, you need three at
2 1/8 x 2 7/8"
The third one I put on the inside panel of the card. I placed it so the decorated panel will cover it when closed.
The outside panel is just stamped with words in garden green. I made a couple of the carrots and fussy cut them out. Place them on the outer panel.
On the inside, or behind the outer panel is another panel that I stamped some early espresso and the little carrot tops so it looked like mounds of dirt. I stamped words there too. The Everything is coming up carrots.
The back panel has a Pear Pizzazz layer cut to
5 3/8 x 4 1/8.
I put the third white piece inside so that the outer panel covers it. I also made a couple more carrots and put them over to the left side so they are covered when the card is closed.
