S oft and pretty thinking of you card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a cutting and scoring tool:
- card from Petal Pink Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 3-3/4" x 5" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/4" of tiny white buds with brown stems on light pink background design from Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/4" x 2-1/2" from Petal Pink Cardstock
Pick out the large, rectangular lace die from the Stitched Lace Dies. Put it over the white rectangle on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool. Run through the tool. Use the Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tools on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the lace cut out to the center of the Crumb Cake rectangle.
Cut a 5-1/2" piece of Petal Pink 5/8" Organdy Striped Ribbon so there is a sharp angle on one side.
Lay the ribbon across the bottom of the matted lace cut out so it is about 5/8" from the bottom and the sharp angle is on the left side and almost touches the left edge of the lace cut out. Secure the right end in place on the back with a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape piece and add SNAIL to the back of the Crumb Cake rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Petal Pink card.
The left, angled end of the ribbon will be hanging free for now.
Mount the cup on a saucer image from the Tea Together Set on Block D. Make sure to remove the large, solid center of rubber from the center of the stamp. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Magnolia Lane Designer Paper rectangle.
Pick out the matching, open, teacup on saucer die from the Tea Time Dies. Put it on top of the stamped designer paper on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the image is centered. Run through the tool.
Adhere the tea cup cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the top of the ribbon on the right side.
Mount the "Always thinking of you" sentiment from the Accented Blooms Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small Petal Pink rectangle.
Pick out the open, stitched, label die from the Perfect Parcel Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the sentiment is centered. Run through the tool.
Tip: It will look as if the edges of the sentiment are going to get cut off, but it will be okay.
Using Stampin' Dimensionals, adhere the sentiment label cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the top of the ribbon and the left edge of the tea cup on a saucer cut out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a diamond shaped gem from a sheet of Petal Pink Rhinestone Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the card front in the upper left corner.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of Petal Pink 5/8" Organdy Striped Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the card front at a slight angle on the bottom right side of the saucer so it is centered over the ribbon already on the card front.
