I paired Take To The Sky designer Series paper with the Wanted to Say dies and the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder for this birthday card.
Project Recipe
Cut Papers:
Card Stock -
Cut Night of Navy 8 ½ X 5 ½ (card base)
Cut TWO Basic White paper 4 X 5 ¼. (1 for card front & 1 for insert)
Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper -
Cut Smokey Slate grid pattern paper 3 ¾ X 5. (Card front)
Cut Smokey Slate grid paper 2 ¼ X 6 (envelope flap)
Cut Night of Navy plaid ½ X 5 ¼
Attach the Basic White card mat to Smokey Slate grid paper and emboss both papers with the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder.
Use the Wanted To Say dies to cut Happy Birthday for the card front. Cut basic white paper slightly larger than the smaller Happy BIrthday die, apply adhesive sheet to the back of the white card stock. Die cut the smaller Happy Birthday from the white card stock with adhesive sheet on the back.
Cut the larger Happy Birthday die from the Navy & White plaid print in the Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper.
Remove the adhesive backing from the White die cut Happy Birthday and attach to the Navy plaid Happy Birthday. Attach the Happy Birthday dies to the embossed card front with dimensionals. Add 3 Adhesive Backed Texture Dots to the card front. Attach the card front to the Night of Navy card base.
Card Insert: Stamp sentiment from Happiest Days with Night of Navy ink. Attach the ½ strip to the top of the card insert. Attach this piece inside your card.
Envelope Flap: Glue the print paper to the envelope flap and trim using the flap as a guide.
