S parkly Halloween card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, Glimmer Paper, and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic Gray Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of orange and white bats and black script on gray background design from Monster Bash Designer Series Paper, cut so the script is horizontal on the vertical rectangle
- 1-1/4" x 3-1/4" from Sparkle Glimmer Paper
- 1-3/4" x 3-1/4" from Sparkle Glimmer Paper
- 1-3/4" x 2-1/2" from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock
Adhere the bats Monster Bash Designer Paper to the Basic Gray rectangle and then to the front of the Pumpkin Pie card.
Rub the Embossing Buddy all over the small Pumpkin Pie rectangle.
As you are ready to stamp using the Tags Tags Tags Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top to protect the mat from ink.
Mount the set of three Halloween tags image from the Tags Tags Tags Set on Block I. Ink up only the "Sending a Halloween Hello" image on the end using the VersaMark Pad. Stamp the tag in the center of the small Pumpkin Pie rectangle.
Place the stamped Pumpkin Pie rectangle in the center of a piece of Grid Paper. Sprinkle on Shimmer Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder so it covers the entire image. Tap off excess powder. Return extra powder to the container.
Heat with the Heat Tool until the powder is completely melted (shiny and more opaque).
Pick out the set of 3 tags die from the Trio of Tags Dies. Put it on top of the stamped tag on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the matching curvy label tag is centered over the tag. Run through the tool. Try to leave the tag hole in place as you remove the tag.
Unlock the 1-1/2" Circle Punch. Slide the wider strip of Sparkle Glimmer Paper into the punch. Punch.
Use small pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the heat embossed sentiment label cut out to the glimmer paper circle so you can just see a thin edge of the circle showing on the top and bottom of the center of the label.
Use Black Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the matted, heat embossed sentiment cut out to the front of the card in the lower right corner.
Unlock the Twinkle Builder Punch. Hold it upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the narrower strip of Sparkle Glimmer Paper into the punch and get it positioned so you will punch out the crescent moon. Punch.
Use Black Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the moon punch out to the the front of the card in the upper left corner with the open side of the crescent on the right.
Cut a 3" piece of Black 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon. Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card at a slight angle on the lower left side of the sentiment cut out.
