H ere's the last card in my Ombre Technique Series. This time I used foiled paper instead of embossing powder but the outcome is just as stunning! The Ornate Garden Designer Series paper worked great for this card! I'm in love with this technique it creates beautiful cards so quickly!
Project Recipe
Cut instructions: DSP = Designer Series Paper
Card Base: Daffodil Delight - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
Layer 1 - Basic Black - 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
Layer 2 - Ornate Garden DSP - 4 x 5 1/4
Layer 3 - Basic Black - 2 1/2 x 2 1/2
Layer 4 - Whisper White - 2 1/2 x 2 1/2
Layer 5 - Whisper White - 4 x 5 1/4
Layer 1 - set aside until you have finished with Layer 2.
Layer 2 - Using the sponge brayers' and the following ink: Gorgeous Grape, Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight.
Add the ink in the following manner. Top of sheet roll on Gorgeous Grape then bring in the Melon Mambo and last the Daffodil Delight.
Make sure to overlap as you move down the sheet. Then wipe lightly wipe off with a lint free clothe.
Adhere Layer 2 to Layer 1 then wrap a piece of Black Satin Ribbon around both. Then adhere to the card front.
Layer 3 Using the layering circle dies cut out a scalloped circle and place on card front on the left under the ribbon.
Layer 4 - Stamp the sentiment from the Tags in Bloom stamp set in Melon Mambo ink.
Cut out with next size down layering circle straight edge die.
Using Stampin Dimensionals add to Layer 3. Straddling the ribbon.
Layer 4 - Using the following Stamp N Write markers color the small flower stamp image from the Ornate Style set. Gorgeous Grape, Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight.
Stamp image in bottom right corner of sheet. Then stamp sentiment in Melon Mambo on center of sheet.
Adhere to the inside of the card.
