Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Pineapple Punch Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Lovely Lipstick Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of evenly spaced white dots on Pineapple Punch background design from 2018-2020 In Color 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/2" x 5-1/8" of random tiny white dots on Lovely Lipstick background design from 2018-2020 In Color 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/2" square from Lovely Lipstick Cardstock
- 2-1/2" square from Whisper White Cardstock
Adhere the strip of Lovely Lipstick designer paper to the Pineapple Punch designer paper rectangle about 3/4" from the bottom.
Cut a 4-1/2" piece of Lovely Lipstick 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the designer paper layers so it covers the top seam between the two layers. Flip the layers over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add SNAIL to the back of the Pineapple Punch designer paper. Adhere it to the Lovely Lipstick rectangle and then to the front of the Pineapple Punch card
As you are ready to stamp using the Tabs For Everything Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the outline cake image from the Tabs For Everything Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Memento Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white square 3 times so the images are in line and about 1/4" apart. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Mount the single-line sentiment of your choice from the Tabs For Everything Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Lovely Lipstick Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white square about 1/4" below the stamped cake images.
Pick out the square framelit from the Layering Squares Framelits that cuts out a 1-7/8" square. Place the stamped white square on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the square framelit on top so it is centered over the cake images and sentiment. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Pick out the scalloped square framelit from the Layering Squares Framelits that cuts out a 2-1/4" scalloped square. Place the Lovely Lipstick square on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the scalloped square framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Place the cakes and sentiment square cut out on top of some paper on your work surface (Grid Paper works great). You need to make sure that you protect your work surface with paper as the Stampin' Blends Markers do bleed through.
Start coloring with the Stampin' Blends Markers. The markers have a brush tip for coloring in larger areas and a fine tip for coloring in smaller areas.
Use the Dark Lovely Lipstick Marker to color in the center layer on the cakes and the candles.
Use the Dark Pineapple Punch Marker to color in the candle flames.
Use the Light Pineapple Punch Marker to color in the top and bottom layers on the cakes.
Adhere the colored cakes and sentiment square to the center of the scalloped Lovely Lipstick square.
Adhere the matted square to the center of the card front so the bottom of the square is tucked under the ribbon so the ribbon is just below the sentiment.
Cut a 3" piece of the Lovely Lipstick 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon on the card front so it is centered under the sentiment and tie it in place using a half knot . Trim the ends.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 3 rhinestones from a sheet of Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them randomly to the front of the card on the Pineapple Punch designer paper layer.
