A
simple sympathy card, a very old stamp set, called Three Little Words was used on this card (the inside reads: so very sorry)
Change the sentiment of this card and use it as a wedding, anniversary, or even a birthday or congratulatory card! The possibilities are endless on this classic card style.
Project Recipe
thick white cardstock, cut 5.5" x 4.25"
pear pizzaz cardstock, cut 5.25" x 4"
whisper white cardstock, cut 1/8" smaller than the pear pizzaz cardstock
Using the Botanical Blooms diecuts: cut 3 flowers using whisper white cardstock, and 3 leaves using pear pizzaz cardstock
Using a dotted background stamp (use any you have on hand from any stamp set!) use the "1-stamp off method" (for a lighter color) and stamp on the upper left corner/portion of the whisper white cardstock. (The "1-stamp off method": ink your stamp, stamp on scrap paper, then stamp on the cardstock)
Stamp your message on the lower right portion of the whisper white cardstock.
Assemble and glue your leaves to the whisper white cardstock.
Slightly curl the ends of the flower pieces, then glue and assemble onto the leaves. Group them together tightly to keep the 3D look, as shown.
Glue the pear pizzaz cardstock to the thick white cardstock, then glue the completed whisper white cardstock to the pear pizzaz cardstock.
Embellish, if you want, by adding pearls or rhinestones.
