T his card combines some of the new gorgeous 2016-2018 In Colours. This card takes very little time to make and can be used to reproduce a lot of cards at one time. Just change the wording on the front and it can be turned into a card for almost an occasion!
Project Recipe
Using a little bit of snail on the middle of the smallest piece of white cardstock stick it right in the middle of the white card base. You don't want to use too much snail because we will be removing it again from the card base!
Using the Sweet Sugarplum, Daffodil Delight, and Tip Top taupe ink pads stamp the images as shown in the picture. Notice how the images are starting up in the top right and corner and swooping down to the left. As you are stamping you can stamp some images half on the top piece of the cards stock and bottom card stock.
Remove the top piece of cardstock from the card base and attach it to the Crumb Cake Piece. You can then go ahead and line it up and stick it down on the middle of your base again.
Ink up the leaf stamp using the Wild Wasabi ink pad. Stamp the image once on a piece of scrap paper and then stamp it the second time on your (scrap) piece of small white cardstock. This is called the stamp off technique. When you don't want the colour to be too vibrant you do this.
Repeat this step once more.
Stamp the lines for the leaf using the same colour but do not stamp off first. Just line up the stamp over the leaf.
Notice how even though we used the same colour the lines are darker? This is why the stamp off method is used.
Using the big shot cut out your leaves and the swirl out of scrap piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock.
More than likely your swirl will get stuck in the die. Just use the paper piercing tool and gently poke the holes in the back of the die and the piece will pop right out!
Attach all of the pieces in the top right and corner of the smaller cardstock. Just us a bit of sail on the back!
Last but not least, stamp your sentiment down in the right-hand corner of the piece in the middle using Tip Top Taupe ink!
And there you have it.....another gorgeous card!
