I pose a new sketch challenge each Sunday and invite others to play along. I've been doing these challenges for several months and although I have a few people signed up to play I've yet to see one card. LOL
Project Recipe
8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Magenta Madness cardstock.
5-1/4" x 4" Highland Heather
5" x 4-1/2" DSP cut into 4-1/2" x 1-1/2" strips.
2-3/8" x 4-1/4" Petal Pink
3" x 4-1/2" Basic White cardstock for the stamp
5-1/4" x 4" for the inside
Score Magenta Madness in half and fold at 4-1/4". Adhere Highland Heather to the front of the card base.
Adhere the three strips of DSP onto the top of the Highland Heather spacing them out evenly.
Using Memento Tuxedo Blank ink, stamp the image onto the basic white cardstock. I used my Staparatus™ for this because the stamp is so large I didn't want to risk not getting a good image. When I use black ink, I like to ink up the stamp and stamp it twice to get a rich dark image.
I used the Stampin' Blends to color in the variety of pink and purple flowers. I used Lt Old Olive and Lt Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends to color the stem and leaves.
Use the dies to cut out small flowers in Petal Pink cardstock, then adhere them to the bottom of the basic white cardstock with Dimensionals.
Stamp the sentiment onto the card and tie a Fresh Freesia ribbon around the bottom. Finish it off with Pearl Basic Jewels.
Use the die to cut out tiny flowers in Highland Heather, and adhere them to the bottom of the basic white cardstock using Liquid glue.
Adhere the white cardstock to the inside of the card.
Add the Pearl Basic Jewels to finish off the card.
TA-DA!!
