Cut Whisper White thick 5.5 x 8.5, score at 4.25 and fold to make a top fold A2 card base
Cut Night of Navy 5.25 x 4 and attached to card base using Snail Adhesive
Cut a piece of regular Whisper White 2 x 3, stamp the snowmen image with Black Archival ink. Allow to dry about a minute because sometimes this ink smears if you don't give it time.
Color the image with Blender Pen and the various colors. Once colored, cut it out and attach Stampin' Dimensionals to the back. Set aside for now.
To make the art piece of the card cut White Glossy card stock 3.75 x 5
Cut a piece of copy paper in the shape you want the snow. I began by cutting the copy paper 5" wide by 2" tall then I cut the top long edge the shape I wanted.
Place Tombow Repositional adhesive along the curved edge of the copy paper piece
Attach this to the art piece lining up the bottom edges
This creates a mask so that the bottom portion of the art piece will remain white like snow.
With the mask in place use the Sponge Brayers to sponge the Balmy Blue first and then the Night of Navy second.
Keep the ink light on the brayer it doesn't take much ink to get the shading you want.
TIP: Don't apply the brayer ink in a straight line. Instead lightly run the brayer in different directions and again - press lightly to avoid lines.
The Night of Navy ony takes a touch or two to add some depth. Go easy!
Once the inking is done remove the mask.
Let the ink dry well.
Apply the embossing buddy over the art piece.
Stamp the swirl image from Star Light stamp set with Versa Mark Ink and emboss with White Embossing Powder.
TIP: It is diffucult to see where you've stamped so stamp one image and place powder on it then stamp the second image and powder it. It will work fine to do this.
Heat emboss the powdered images.
The red ink will not dry on the Glossy card stock so I stamped it with Real Red ink and then embossed it with Clear Embossing powder.
Attach the cut out snowmen with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I added some Balmy Blue snowflakes to the inside of the card.
