T his sparkly evergreen tree is sure to be a favorite card given this Christmas Season!
Project Recipe
Cuttin' It UP!
Basic Grey: 4" x 5 1/4" ; 3" x 3 1/2"
Whisper White THICK: 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2"
Whisper White: 3 3/4" x 5"; 1" x 6"
Stamp it UP!
a) Stamp the Birch trees on the Whisper White making sure the tops of the trees go over the top of the paper with Basic Grey Ink.
b) Stamp the evergreen tree on the basic grey paper (3 x 3 1/2) with the Basic Grey Ink.
c) Glue the Basic Grey 4 x 5 1/4 paper onto the Whisper White Thick cardstock card front after using the bone folder on the edge.
Cuttin' it UP!
Take the tree you stamped on the Basic Grey and cut out the tree with the big shot using the evergreen die. NOTE: the stamped image is bigger than the tree die
Puttin' on the SNOW!
a) Once the tree is cut, bend the tree branches so that they stick out a bit.
b) Next you will use the Embossing Paste to add the snow to the branches. Take care to place the lid back on the paste as this dries very quickly.
Sprinkle the dazzling diamonds on the paste to add sparkle.
Next take your 1 x 6 of whisper white an rip in half ripping so that you have a large edge showing.
a) Add a little Basic Grey ink with the sponge to the bottom of the paper.
b) Next add the embossing paste to the ripped edge and apply the Dazzling Diamonds.
Next stamp the sentiment on the inside and outside of the card using the Cherry Cobbler Ink.
Next add one strip of the "snow" to the bottom of the card as shown leaving space for the 2nd strip to be added.
Next add the second strip of snow to the bottom and trim the edges so they are flush .
Next attached the trees to the Basic Grey card front and you are done!
