Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Misty Moonlight Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Night Of Navy Cardstock
- 3-13/16" x 5-1/16" from Misty Moonlight Cardstock
- 3" x 5-1/6" of white birds and white and light blue flowers on medium blue background design from Countryside Inn 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the birds are vertical on the horizontal rectangle
- 2" square from Basic White Cardstock
Pick out the solid stem full of little leaves die from the Something Fancy Dies. Put it on top of the horizontal Misty Moonlight rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is about 2" from the right side of the rectangle and the leaves are pointing down and almost touch the bottom edge. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed.
Note: You are using the large Misty Moonlight rectangle with the leaves cut out of it on this project Just throw the tiny leaves away.
Adhere the Countryside Inn Designer Paper piece to the top of the cut Misty Moonlight rectangle so the top, left, and right sides are all even.
Use the Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush to paint some glimmer onto the bottom of the horizontal Night Of Navy rectangle so the glimmered cardstock will show through the leaves cut into the Misty Moonlight rectangle. Just don't get the glimmer too close to the bottom edge.
Adhere the cardstock/designer paper layer to the center of the glimmered Night Of Navy rectangle so the glimmer shows through the leaves cut into the Misty Moonlight layer.
Cut a 6" piece of the Night Of Navy 3/8" Bordered Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the layered cardstock/designer paper rectangle so it covers the seam between the designer paper and Misty Moonlight layers. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Night Of Navy rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Misty Moonlight card.
Mount the "nothing fancy just love" or "thank you" sentiment from the Something Fancy Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Night Of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white square.
Pick out the hexagon die from the Something Fancy Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment hexagon cut out to the front of the card so it is centered over the ribbon just to the right of the cut out leaves.
Cut a 3" piece of the Night Of Navy 3/8" Bordered Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card so it overlaps the right edge of the sentiment hexagon cut out and is centered over the ribbon already on the card front.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a medium and two small Boho Blue dots from the sheet of 2023-2025 In Color Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them in an evenly spaced, straight line as shown in the lower right corner of the card front so the medium sized dot is in the center.
