Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- 4" x 8-1/2" of diagonal pink stripes with tiny yellow and pink lemons with green leaves design form Delightfully Eclectic 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the lemons are vertical on the horizontal rectangle
- 2-1/4" x 5-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
Place the 4" x 8-1/2" Delightfully Eclectic Designer Paper on the Paper Trimmer so a 4" side is on the top of the Trimmer and the lemons are horizontal with the leaves on the left side of the paper. Move the paper over so the top of the paper is at the 3" mark. Score along the 1" mark.
Place the 4" x 8-1/2" Delightfully Eclectic Designer Paper on the Paper Trimmer so an 8-1/2" side is on the top of the Trimmer and the lemons are vertical with the leaves on the top. The scored line should be at the bottom. Score along the 2", 4", 6", and 8" marks.
Use the Bone Folder to fold and tightly crease on all score marks.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut along the 2", 4", 6", and 8" score marks up to the 1" score mark. Cut the tiny bit of paper under the 1/2" flap on the end completely off.
Fold the 1/2" tab on the end under. Fold the remainder in half so you have two panels showing on each side of the folded paper. Use the handheld circle punch to punch two holes in the top of each set of panels so the holes are about 1/4" from the top edge and are about 3/8" apart.
Unfold the paper.
Put a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive along the top of the entire length of the 1/2" flap. Remove the protective backing. Adhere it to the edge of the other end of the designer paper forming a squared tube.
Put bits of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the inside of two of the bottom flaps. Fold the flaps closed and adhere them together to form the bottom of the bag. Use the Bone Folder to help press the bottom together firmly by sticking it inside the bag and rubbing firmly across the bottom.
Pinch the top of the bag closed. The holes punched in the tops should mostly line up. If needed, use the handheld circle punch again to completely punch them out.
Fill the bag with treats.
Cut a 5" piece of the Lemon Lolly ribbon from the 3/8" Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack so it has a sharp angle on each end.
Pinch the top of the bag closed again. Stick both ends of the ribbon through the holes in the front of the bag. Pull them through so they are even.
Cross the ribbon ends over each other on the back of the bag and stick each end back through the opposite hole. Pull through until tight and even. Trim the ends of the ribbon.
As you are ready to stamp using the So Refreshing Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the full, outline only glass image from the So Refreshing Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Bubble Bath Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the horizontal white strip leaving room to cut the image out.
Mount the solid, liquid in the bottom of the glass image from the So Refreshing Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Lemon Lolly Ink Pad. Stamp it inside the bottom of the previously stamped outline glass image.
Mount the solid, set of two small lemons image from the So Refreshing Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Lemon Lolly Ink Pad. Stamp it in a blank area just to the side of the glass image on the white strip leaving room to cut it out.
Mount the outline, set of two small lemons image from the So Refreshing Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Lemon Lolly Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped set of two solid lemons.
Mount the solid, set of two small leaves image from the So Refreshing Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp once on Grid Paper. WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp it in a blank space on the white strip just to the side of the lemons image leaving room to cut it out.
Mount the detailed, set of two small leaves image from the So Refreshing Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped set of two solid leaves.
Pick out a matching open glass die; the matching open set of two small leaves die; and the matching open set of two small lemons die from the So Refreshing Dies. Put them all on top of the stamped white strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so they are all centered over the matching stamped images.. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine. Set all the cut outs aside for now. Keep the remaining bit of the white strip.
Pick out the circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies that cuts out a circle that is 1-3/4" in diameter. Put it on top of the remaining white strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Mount the "thank you kindly" sentiment from the So Refreshing Set on Block H. Use the side of the brush tip of the Garden Green Stampin' Write Marker to ink up only the word "thank." Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp the word in the upper right side of the circle cut out. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy, but leave the stamp on the block.
Use the side of the brush tip of the Garden Green Stampin' Write Marker to ink up only the word "you" in the "thank you kindly" sentiment mounted on Block H. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp the word on the right side of the circle cut out so it is just below the word "thank" and closer to the right edge. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy and put it away.
Adhere the sentiment circle cut out to the front of the bag as shown so it is close to the right edge and about 1/4" from the bottom.
Adhere the glass cut out to the front of the bag as shown so it overlaps the left side of the circle cut out.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the lemons cut out to the front of the bag as shown so it overlaps the bottom of the glass cut out and the lower left side of the circle cut out.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the leaves cut out to the front of the bag as shown so they are tucked under the top of the lemons and overlap the glass and circle cut outs.
