Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Daffodil Delight Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of large white dots on yellow background design from Delightfully Eclectic 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 1-3/4" x 5-1/4" of tiny yellow dots on white background design from Delightfully Eclectic 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 3" from Basic White Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the So Refreshing Set, place the cardstock or designer paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the "thank you kindly" sentiment from the So Refreshing Set on Clear Block G. Carefully press the stamp to the open Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad so you will ink up only the words "thank you." Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp the sentiment in the lower right corner of the vertical white spots on yellow background piece of Delightfully Eclectic Designer Paper.
Mount the small, circular citrus slice image from the So Refreshing Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad. Stamp it all over the right half of the sentiment stamped white dots on yellow background designer paper rectangle so it is centered over each of the white dots. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Stamp a few more slices randomly here and there so they overlap the previously stamped slices a bit. Leave the stamp on the block.
Adhere the strip of yellow dots on white background Delightfully Eclectic Designer Paper to the left side of the larger, stamped designer paper rectangle.
Put a piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive down the layered designer paper rectangle so it hides the seam between the two pieces of paper.
Cut a 5-3/4" piece of the Natural 3/8" Polka Dot Trim.
Lay the trim on the Tear & Tape Adhesive making sure you cover all of the adhesive and that the dots on the ribbon are face up. Use Paper Snips Scissors to trim off excess ribbon on either side.
Adhere the stamped and layered designer paper with ribbon attached to the front of the Daffodil Delight card.
Mount the full, outline only pitcher image from the So Refreshing Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the vertical white rectangle leaving room to cut the image out.
Mount the solid, liquid in the bottom of the pitcher image from the So Refreshing Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Daffodil Delight Ink Pad. Stamp it inside the bottom of the previously stamped outline pitcher image.
Re-ink the small, circular citrus slice image on Block A with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad. Stamp it in a blank area on the white rectangle leaving room to cut it out.
Pick out the matching open pitcher die and the small circle die from the So Refreshing Dies. Put them on top of the white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so they are centered over the matching stamped images.. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine.
Mount the small, set of two ice cubes image from the So Refreshing Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad. Stamp it a few times in the center of the pitcher cut out. Change the orientation a bit each time. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut a small slit half way into the lemon slice cut out.
Slide the cut lemon slice cut out onto the top of the lemonade pitcher cut out as shown. Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional on the back to hold things in place.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the lemonade pitcher with lemon slice attached to the front of the card so it is centered over the ribbon just to the left of the sentiment.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large and 2 small white flowers from a sheet of Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card as shown.
