Project Recipe
Cut a Starrry Sky card base at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4". Fold in half.
Using the large snowflake die in the Snowman dies, cut out the centre of the card base.
Using the Stitched Rectangle or Deckled Rectangle dies, die cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock with the largest die. Using the third largest die, cut out the centre, leaving a white border. Adhere to the card base as an outline for the snowflake cutout.
Die cut or punch a 1" circle from the Masking Paper or a Post-It Note. Adhere to a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Basic White cardstock.
Using the Blending Brushes and starting at the bottom, add Tahitian Tide, Orchid Oasis, and Starry Sky ink to the cardstock to create an ombre sky. When complete, remove the circular mask.
Cut a piece of Snowflake Speciality Vellum to 3 3/4" x 5". Adhere to the top of the blended sky cardstock around the edges only.
Cut a piece of 1 1/2" x 3 3/4" Basic White cardstock. Rip along the long edge to create a snow bank. Adhere to the bottom of the snow scene.
On the inside of the card where the snowflake die cut is, apply adhesive around the perimeter of the die cut. Place the snow scene in the window such that it is facing out. Hold until glue dries.
Apply adhesive sheets to the back of 2" x 4" dark silver foil, and die cut two trees from the Snowman dies.
Adhere the two trees to the card front, tucking the tree bases behind the snow bank.
Die cut a scrap of Basic White with a snowflake and add to the card front.
Stamp stars in Tahitian Tide along the top of two piece of 4" x 5 1/4" cardstock.
Stamp greeting on one piece of cardstock using Starry Sky ink.
Adhere the two pieces to the inside of the card.
