Project Recipe
Cutting Instructions:
- Mint Macaron (card base): 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4".
- Basic Black (matt): 4" x 5 1/4"; approximately 4" x 5" for die cutting;
- Design A Daydream DSP (matt): 3 7/8" x 5 1/8";
- Silver Foil: approximately 3" x 4" for die cutting.
- Basic White: approximately 3" x 4" for die cutting; 4" x 5 1/4" for inside card.
- Window Sheets: 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" (2).
- Blushing Bride: scraps for die cutting.
Instructions:
1. Mint Macaron (cardbase): fold on score line and burnish with a bone folder.
2. Adhere DSP to Black Cardstock Matt with seal making sure centre is adhered as well. Cut oval in centre of piece with embossing oval die.
3. Cut Black oval with Filigree Oval Die.
4. Adhere Window Sheet to Black CS with seal, make sure you place seal all around the oval cut out.
5. Adhere Foam Adhesive Strips to the Window Sheet around the oval placing them just a smidge outside of the oval.
6. Use a Embossing Buddy or Dryer Sheet to remove the static from the Window Sheet.
7. Die cut Basic White CS with the largest oval die. Stamp sentiment with Black Ink. Decorate the edges with leaf stamps and Mint Macaron Ink. Adhere to card front use the focal piece to place oval.
8. Put shaker pieces in the opening of the focal piece.
9. Peal backing off adhesive strips, place second window sheet onto the adhesive strips.
10. Adhere Black oval to card front with Multipurpose Glue.
11. Cut Silver Foil with smallest oval die (embossing die), adhere on top of the black oval on card front.
12. Embellish card front with Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewel.
13. Stamp sentiment with Black Ink for inside, decorate with leaf images with Mint Macaron Ink. If desired adhere oval cut from DSP/Black matt over your sentiment.
