I used a new punch from the January - June 2022 mini catalog to make this masculine birthday card.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut Night if Navy 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Wood Grain paper from Heart & Home paper pack 4 X 5 ¼ . Attach card mat to the Night of Navy card base.
Card Front: From Night of Navy paper, cut a stitched rectangle. I cut the one that measures 2 ⅝ X 4. Cut the next smallest stitched rectangle from Basic White.
Stamp sentiment with Basic Gray ink on the bottom of the white stitched rectangle. Attach the stitched white rectangle to the Navy stitched rectangle,
Punch sails from Navy print paper, I used a scrap from the Hey Sports Fan paper pack. I punched the boat from a wood grain paper from In Good Taste paper pack.
Adhere boat above the stamped sentiment. Attach sails with dimensionals to the stamped white stitched rectangle. Attach the rectangles to the card front.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
