Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer and Paper Snips:
- card from Daffodil Delight Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2" x 5-1/8" of white and light blue raindrops on blue background design from Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper, cut so the raindrops are vertical on the horizontal rectangle
- 2 x 3-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2" x 3-1/4" from Daffodil Delight Cardstock
- 3 flowers punched from a strip of multi-colored flowers on white background design from Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper, use Paper Snips to trim the paper so the punch will slide on easily
Insert the 4" x 5-1/4" white rectangle into the Beads & Baubles Embossing Folder so the lines are vertical on the horizontal rectangle. Use the line drawn on the front of the folder to help you line the cardstock up straight. Place the folder with the paper inside on your die cutting and embossing tool and run through the machine.
Adhere the strip of raindrops Pleased As Punch Designer Paper to the top of the dry embossed white rectangle so about 1/8" of white shows on the top, left, and right edges. Make sure the raindrops on the designer paper and the dry embossed cardstock all have the points pointing up.
Cut a 6" piece of Daffodil Delight 1/4" Ruched Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the matted rectangle so it covers the seam between the dry embossed white cardstock and designer paper pieces. Secure in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add SNAIL to the back of the dry embossed white rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Daffodil Delight card.
Mount the "if loving thoughts could heal..." sentiment image from the Sending You Thoughts Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Balmy Blue Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the 2" x 3-1/4" strip of white cardstock leaving room to punch it out.
Unlock the Tailored Tag Punch. Hold it upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped sentiment into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Slide the 2" x 3-1/4" strip of Daffodil Delight Cardstock into the unlocked Tailored Tag Punch and punch.
Use Paper Snips to cut the Daffodil Delight punch out in half horizontally.
Adhere the cut pieces of the Daffodil Delight punch out to the back of the white sentiment punch out so about 1/8" of yellow shows on the top and bottom edges.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the matted sentiment punch out to the front of the card so it is centered over the ribbon on the right side.
Cut a 3" piece of Daffodil Delight 1/4" Ruched Ribbon.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon already on the card just to the left of the matted sentiment punch out. Tie in place with a half knot. Trim the ends.
If you haven't already done so, unlock the Small Bloom Punch. Hold it upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the trimmed down Pleased As Punch paper into the punch and get a flower centered in the punching area. Punch. Repeat until you have punched out 3 different colored flowers.
Adhere two flower punch outs flat to the bottom left corner of the card front so they are about 1/4" apart.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the third flower punch out to the card front so it is in between the two other flower punch outs.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 3 tiny rhinestones from a sheet of Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the centers of the flower punch outs.
