Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Mint Macaron Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Purple Posy Cardstock
- 2" x 5" of pale purple daisies and green leaves on white background design from Best Dressed 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/2" x 5-1/2" of pale purple and dark and light green stripes design from Best Dressed 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, cut so the stripes are horizontal on the vertical strip
- 1" x 3-3/4" of small white roses on light purple background design from Best Dressed 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 1" x 3-1/2" from Mint Macaron Cardstock
Lightly spritz the Purple Posy rectangle with water and insert into the Country Floral 3D Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the paper inside on your die cutting and embossing tool and run through the machine. Set aside to dry.
Unlock the Banner Triple Punch. One at a time, slide one short edge of each strip of Best Dressed Designer Paper into the punch as far as it will go. Punch.
Mount the "Congratulations!" sentiment from the Sending You Thoughts Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Pretty Peacock Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Mint Macaron strip.
Pick out the long, scalloped edge rectangle die from the Sending Flowers Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the sentiment is centered up and down and the left edge of the sentiment is about 3/8" from the left edge of the die. Run through the tool. Keep the die out for the next step.
Put the long, scalloped edge rectangle die back on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the sentiment is still centered up and down and the right edge of the sentiment is about 3/8" from the right edge of the die. Line the bumps of the die up with the bumps already cut into the cardstock. Run through the tool.
If the dry embossed Purple Posy rectangle is dry, proceed with the next step.
Tip: You can speed up drying with a Heat Tool if needed.
Adhere the designer paper banners to the dry embossed Purple Posy rectangle as shown so they overlap each other a bit. Use Paper Snips to trim off excess designer paper along the top edge.
Cut a 4-1/2" piece of Mint Macaron 1/4" Mini Textile Ribbon.
Pick out a Pretty Peacock tassel from the Best Dressed Tassels.
Thread the tassel onto the ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the dry embossed Purple Posy cardstock/designer paper banners rectangle so it is about 3/8" from the top edge. Secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add SNAIL to the back of the dry embossed Purple Posy rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Mint Macaron card.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of Mint Macaron 1/4" Mini Textile Ribbon.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon already on the card on the left side. Make sure you get the loop of the tassel and tie the ribbon in place with a half knot. Trim the ends.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment cut out to the front of the card so it is centered over the striped banner just above the notch in the daisy banner.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 3 Mint Macaron sequins from a sheet of Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them randomly to the front of the card.
