T his is a simple, yet elegant card. The DSP and gorgeous fonts used in the sentiments do most of the work. Be creative and keep it simple my crafty friends.
Project Recipe
Measurements of Materials
5 ½” x 8 ½” White Cardstock (CS) Scored at 4 ¼”
2 ½” x 4” Season of Green & Gold Designer Series Paper (DSP) - (Cut 2)
1 ¼” x 4” Gold Foil
1” x 4” DSP
Scraps of Mossy Meadow and White CS to make the wreath and tags.
Cut and Score all pieces. Stamp and Die Cut the wreath. Die cut the tag pieces.
Assembling the Front of the card
• Stamp the sentiments on the tag.
• Adhere the two DSP pieces to the front of the card.
• Mount the 1” strip of DSP to the gold foil.
• If you are going to add twin or ribbon, add it at this point before attaching the strip to the card face.
• Attach the strip over the seam between the DSP pieces.
• Using dimensionals, attach the wreath and tags to the front of the card.
Inside the Card
• Stamp the inside sentiment(s) and any decorations onto the inside of the card base.
• Decorate the envelope as desired.
Use your imagination to embellish as desired. I used gold metallic enamel effects and gold Holly leaves.
