1. The base of the card is Crumb Cake cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 7-1/4” and scored at 1-1/2 x 3” on the long side in the Simply Scored Scoring Tool.
2. The second layer is Balmy Blue cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 7-1/4” and scored at 1-1/2” and 3”. Then cut with the Paper Trimmer into 3 strips at 1-1/2” each. Burnish the score marks with the Bone Folder.
3. Cut the DSP at 1-1/4” x 4” 3 times using a pattern and six DSP cut at 1-1/4” x 1-1/4”. Attach to each section with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
4. Attach the three sections to the card by placing the top section and lining it up flush with the top/side of the card and same with the bottom section with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The middle section can be eye-balled or measured for distance. The three sections should have a mountain and then a valley so that when it stands up, you can see a triple z fold card.
5. Use the Stamparatus to line up the sentiment “Happy Birthday” from Peaceful Moments with Night of Navy ink on 2-1/2” x x 3-1/2” Basic White cardstock. Then add Crumb Cake cardstock by cutting two with one at 1” x 2-1/2 and the other one at 1” x 2-1/2”. Ink up the shells/sand stamp with Crumb Cake ink across the cardstock. Tear across the top or use the die and with a Dauber and Crumb Cake ink, ink up the torn edges to give it dimension. Adhere the two layers together with Multipurpose Glue and then add at the bottom of the Basic White with Multipurpose Glue.
6. Die cut a bird from the DSP, a large shell from the DSP and sea grass from Coastal Cabana cardstock. Attach to the card. Layer onto Night of Navy cardstock cut at 2-3/4” x 3-3/4” and add to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (or Dimensionals but be careful where you adhere them). Add 3 Pearls to the card.
7. On the back of the card, cut Basic White cardstock at 4” x 5-1/4” and insert into the Stamparatus and ink up the sentiment to the middle with Night of Navy ink.
8. Then add just two of the birds showing at the bottom and ink them up with Night of Navy ink. Add sand stamp with Crumb Cake ink.
9. Die-cut a Calypso Coral crab to the bottom right. Sponge the edges with a Dauber, Balmy Blue for the sky and Crumb cake for the sand. Adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the back.
