T his is a card using the new blending brushes and frost white shimmer paint to give your cardstock a metallic look. Credit to Linda Heller for this idea. It's a lot of fun, be sure to try it.
Project Recipe
Cut Sahara Sand cardstock at 4¼ x 11", and score at 5½".
Cut misty moonlight cardstock at 4 x 5¼". Then using the blending brushes you will add the frost white shimmer paint directly to the misty moonlight cardstock. I poured a little of the paint in a miracle whip lid. Dip it in and then apply in a swirling motion.
Set aside to dry.
Die cut the shape out of some scrap sahara sand cardstock and also one out of basic white cardstock. These dies are part of the tasteful labels dies. Stamp the greeting from the Friends are like seashells set on the white piece in misty moonlight ink.
Once your misty moonlight cardstock is dry, run it through the seashells embossing 3D folder. Then adhere the sahara sand die cut label to the embossed piece.
Using the light misty moonlight blend with the brush tip, color the white crinkled seam binding ribbon. Let dry.
Using glue dots, add the ribbon over the sahara sand label attaching to the back of the misty moonlight piece. Then attach to the sahara sand base card.
Add the white label greeting with dimensionals. Place some pearl embellishments to the card.
