Project Recipe
On a 4" x 5 1/4" panel of watercolor paper, sponge background colors, starting with the lightest and working to the darkest. (So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz, Calypso Coral and Night of Navy)
Each color covers 1/4 of the panel.
Spritz your entire panel with water.
Lift the top of the panel up for a few seconds and allow some of the water to run downwards. Lay panel back down. It will want to curl up, so use a bone folder or tweezers to hold it down gently.
Sprinkle with salt. Table salt, kosher salt, rock salt. They all work. And for a little different look, try rice instead of salt. Set aside and allow to dry.
You can speed up the drying process by using a heat gun. When panel is completely dry, assemble card as desired.
