Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Bermuda Bay Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Pool Party Cardstock
- rainbow of pink, yellow, green, and blue on white background design from Sunshine & Rainbows 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, cut out in a rough rectangle by hand using Paper Snips Scissors
- Pool Party cloud with white design on it punched out from Sunshine & Rainbows 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper using Cloud Punch
- 1" x 2" from Basic White Cardstock
Pick out the small, complete rainbow die from the Brilliant Rainbow Dies. Put it on top of the horizontal Pool Party rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the bottom of the die is about 5/8" from the bottom of the rectangle and the right edge of the die is about 5/8" from the right edge of the rectangle. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. Keep the Pool Party rectangle with the rainbow cut out of it and throw away the small arches of Pool Party.
As you are ready to stamp using the Rainbow Of Happiness Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "you make me happy" sentiment from the Rainbow Of Happiness Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Bermuda Bay Ink Pad. Stamp it just below the rainbow cut out on the Pool Party rectangle.
If you haven't already done so, unlock the Cloud Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the Pool Party cloud from the Sunshine & Rainbows 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the punched out cloud on the stamped and die cut Pool Party rectangle near the upper left corner.
Mount the grouping of raindrops image from the Rainbow Of Happiness Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Pool Party Ink Pad. Stamp it several times on the Pool Party rectangle so it will be just below the bottom right edge of the cloud punch out. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Adhere the cloud punch out to the the front of the stamped and die cut Pool Party rectangle so it covers the tops of the stamped raindrops just a bit.
If you haven't already done so, use Paper Snips Scissors to cut out a rough rectangle around the small, complete rainbow from the Sunshine & Rainbows 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper.
Flip the stamped and die cut Pool Party rectangle upside down on your work surface. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to outline the outer edge of the rainbow die cut area and the arches in the center of the rainbow die cut area.
Flip the Pool Party rectangle back over and adhere it over the top of the small complete rainbow rectangle cut from the designer paper so that the colored arches show through the arches of the die cut area.
Adhere the Pool Party rectangle with rainbow adhered to it to the front of the Bermuda Bay card.
Pick out the set of two small clouds die from the Brilliant Rainbow Dies. Put it on top of the small white strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces if needed.
Adhere one of the small cloud cut outs to the front of the card using Stampin' Seal so it overlaps the bottom right edge of the cloud punch out.
Using a Mini Stampin' Dimensional, adhere the other small cloud cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the bottom right edge of the cloud punch out and the upper edge of the other small cloud cut out.
