I
received a version of this card as a swap at this year's OnStage, in Toronto, this past weekend. I thought it was pretty neat, but changed it up a bit. I hope you like it.
Project Recipe
Blackberry Bliss Card Stock 8" x 4", and 4 x 4"
Whisper White Card Stock 3 5/8 " x 3 5/8", cut in half diagonally, and 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 for house stamp
Gold Foil Scrap about 3 1/2 x 2 1/2"
Stamp Sets
Still Scenes
Itty Bitty Christmas
Score the 8" card stock at 4" on the long side, then score from the top of the 4" score to each bottom corner to create a triangle.
Score the 4" square on the diagonal to create two triangles
Fold and burnish all score lines with your bone folder.
Glue the 4" square to the 8"x4", in the centre, on pointe, matching the edges to the score lines on the larger piece.
Stamp the house stamp from the Still Scenes stamp set on to a scrap, and use the dies to cut out. Colour as you like, with Stampin Blends or Stamp'n Write markers.
Cut out a gold foil label with the layering frames dies. Layer the house on top with Stampin Dimensionals. Adhere to the front of the centre square.
I used the Itty Bitty Christmas stamps for my sentiment, stamped with Versamark, then heat embossed with the Gold embossing powder.
Stamp your inside sentiment, on one of the whisper white triangles. Adhere triangles on right side of inside of pyramid.
Fold sides to the back and create a pyramid. I used adhesive velcro dots (available at most dollar stores or sewing stores), to hold the pyramid closed. When flat, fits in to a regular envelope.
