You're Awesome! |
T his card uses the mini drapery fold technique on the piece of designer series paper.

The card is really easy to make. Simply choose your designer series paper piece and your base color, and go from there!
The designer series paper on my card is a 6 x 2 piece from Birthday Bouquet on page 9 of the Occasions catalog.
Score your piece of designer series paper at 3-1/4", 3-3/4", 4-3/4" and 5-1/8".
On the short side, measure up 7/8" and make a faint mark at that spot. I made it on the backside of the paper so it would show.
Line up the mark and the first score mark (3-1/4" mark) and make the diagonal cut from the score mark to the pencil mark.
Fold the paper back and forth, making an accordian fold.
Adhere to the 4x5-1/4 piece of Whisper White.
Tie a piece of coordinating ribbon so that it covers the designer series paper seam.
Stamp your greeting and embellish as desired! I used the Grateful bunch stamp set and coordinating punch found on page 22 in the Occasions Catalog.
Finally adhere to your card base!
