Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a cutting and scoring tool:
- card from Crumb Cake Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of tiny white keys on green background design from Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper
- 3-1/2" x 4-1/2" from Old Olive Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
Adhere the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper rectangle to the front of the Crumb Cake card.
Pick out the rectangle die from the Heirloom Frames Dies & 3D Embossing Folders. Put it on top of the Old Olive rectangle on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool. Run through the tool.
Lightly spritz the Old Olive rectangle frame with water and insert into the rectangle Heirloom Frames 3D Embossing Folder. Line it up on the embossing portion of the folder. Place the folder with the paper inside on your die cutting and embossing tool and run through the machine. Set aside to dry.
Tip: I used a couple of Mini Glue Dots and adhered the center, solid rectangle cut out when using the rectangle die to the center of the smooth rectangle in the center of the embossing folder. This makes it easier for me to line up the rectangle frame inside the embossing folder.
Tip: You may need to use the 3D Embossing Folder Plate with the embossing folder. If you don't have the plate, you may need to use a couple of thin cardboard shims.
Mount the long, textile image from the Woven Heirlooms Set on Block I. Ink it up with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad. STAMP OFF on Grid Paper, then stamp across the top of the Crumb Cake rectangle. Repeat, remembering to STAMP OFF each time, until you’ve stamped across the entire Crumb Cake rectangle.
Rub the Embossing Buddy all over the stamped Crumb Cake rectangle.
Mount the "thinking of you" sentiment from the Woven Heirlooms Set on Block H. Ink it up with the VersaMark Pad. Stamp it in the center of the stamped Crumb Cake rectangle.
Place the stamped sentiment rectangle in the center of a piece of Grid Paper. Sprinkle on Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder so it covers the entire sentiment. Tap off excess powder. Return extra powder to the container.
Heat with the Heat Tool until the powder is completely melted (shiny).
Mount the small flower swirl image from the Woven Heirlooms Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the heat embossed sentiment rectangle just below the word "you."
If the rectangle frame is dry, proceed with the next step. Speed up drying if needed with the Heat Tool.
Lightly rub the corner of the VersaMark Pad across the raised front of the rectangle frame cut out. Try to get some of the ink on the filigree design.
Place the inked up rectangle frame cut out in the center of a piece of Grid Paper. Sprinkle on Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder so it covers some areas. Tap off excess powder. Use a small paintbrush to brush off more of the powder, leaving it very splotchy all around the frame cut out. Return extra powder to the container.
Heat with the Heat Tool until the powder is completely melted (shiny).
Adhere the heat embossed rectangle frame over the stamped sentiment rectangle so the sentiment is just above center of the frame and centered side to side. Trim off excess Crumb Cake cardstock from the sides if needed using Paper Snips.
Adhere the framed sentiment to the front of the card in the center.
Pick out a single, copper leaf from the Leaves Trinkets. Adhere it to the card front using a Mini Glue Dot so it covers the lower right corner of the heat embossed frame.
Tip: If you have the Bird Ballad Trinkets, you could substitute one of the key trinkets for the leaf trinket.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Old Olive/Pretty Peacock 3/8" Reversible Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card so it is angled over the stem of the leaf trinket.
