Wonderful World Framed Flowers |
P retty card using Stampin' Up! products including some that can be earned for FREE during Sale-A-Bration 2022.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Mossy Meadow Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Mossy Meadow Cardstock
- 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" from Starry Sky Cardstock
- 3-1/8" x 4-3/8" of different purple and white flowers with green foliage on light purple background design from Wonderful World 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the flowers are vertical on the vertical rectangle
- 3" x 4-1/4" from Mossy Meadow Cardstock
- 3" x 4-1/4" from Sahara Sand Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3" from Orchid Oasis Cardstock
Insert the 4" x 5-1/4" Mossy Meadow rectangle into the Fern 3D Embossing Folder. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed Mossy Meadow rectangle to the front of the Mossy Meadow card.
Adhere the piece of Wonderful World Designer Paper to the center of the Starry Sky rectangle.
Adhere the matted designer paper rectangle to the center of the card front.
Mount the German cornflowers image from the Wonderful World Set on Block E. Ink it up the leaves and stems with the side of the brush tip of the Mossy Meadow Marker. Ink up the flowers with the side of the brush tip of the Orchid Oasis Marker. BEFORE STAMPING, use the brush tip of the Starry Sky Marker to randomly thump around on the flowers adding some slightly darker spot. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp in the center of the Sahara Sand vertical rectangle.
Pick out the open, frame with bumpy ends die from the Fabulous Frames Dies. Put it on top of the stamped flowers image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the flowers are centered in the center open area. You will cut off some of the leaves/stems at the bottom. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces if needed. Keep the die out.
Note: For this step, you are using the large rectangle center portion with the flowers stamped on it. Keep the frame portion for use on another project.
Put the open, frame with bumpy ends die on top of the remaining 3" x 4-1/4" Mossy Meadow rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces if needed.
Note: For this step, you are using the frame portion. Keep the large rectangle cut out of the center for use on another project.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the Mossy Meadow frame cut out to the front of the card so it is centered on the matted designer paper.
Adhere the solid rectangle with the flowers stamped on it to the inside of the frame.
As you are ready to stamp using the Charming Sentiments Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Charming Sentiments Set on an appropriate size block. Ink it up with the Starry Sky Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Orchid Oasis rectangle.
Pick out the matching die from the Sentiment Silhouettes Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals or Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the lower left corner of the framed flowers image as shown.
Cut a 3" piece of the Sahara Sand ribbon from the Old Olive & Sahara Sand Twill Ribbon Combo Pack.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the endss
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the lower right corner of the framed flowers image as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up one large and one small butterfly from a sheet of Brushed Brass Butterflies making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card around the framed flowers as shown.
