Winter Woods Spooky Halloween Woods |
S pooky Halloween card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Basic Black Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of spiderwebs on gray background design from Monster Bash Designer Series Paper
- 3" x 4" from Basic Gray Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 2-1/2" from Basic Gray Cardstock
Mount the grouping of bare trees image from the Winter Woods Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Memento Pad. Stamp in the center of the 3" x 4" Basic Gray rectangle.
Adhere the stamped trees image to the center of the spider webs Monster Bash Designer Paper.
Cut an 6" piece of Basic Black 3/8" Scalloped Edge Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the Basic Gray/designer paper rectangle so it covers the seam between the two pieces along the bottom edge of the Basic Gray rectangle. Secure in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add SNAIL to the back of the designer paper rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Basic Black card.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick tool to pick up two tombstone shapes from a sheet of Monster Bash Enamel Shapes being sure to get the adhesives as well. Adhere them to the front of the card on either side of the trees on the gray rectangle so the bottom edges are tucked behind the ribbon.
Rub the Embossing Buddy all over the small Basic Gray rectangle.
As you are ready to stamp using the Tags Tags Tags Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top to protect the mat from ink.
Mount the set of three Halloween tags image from the Tags Tags Tags Set on Block I. Ink up only the "Sending a Halloween Hello" image on the end using the VersaMark Pad. Stamp the tag in the center of the small Basic Gray rectangle.
Place the stamped Basic Gray rectangle in the center of a piece of Grid Paper. Sprinkle on Shimmer Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder so it covers the entire image. Tap off excess powder. Return extra powder to the container.
Heat with the Heat Tool until the powder is completely melted (shiny and more opaque).
Pick out the set of 3 tags die from the Trio of Tags Dies. Put it on top of the stamped tag on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the matching curvy label tag is centered over the tag. Run through the tool. Try to leave the tag hole in place as you remove the tag.
Use Black Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the tag cut out to the front of the card so it is centered under the trees and centered over the ribbon.
