You'll notice that everything has started out white. This project requires you to color all the parts and pieces utilizing a variety of techniques. I chose the blues and purples for my project, because I love them, but you can easily use your favorite colors.
Starting with the blending brushes, very lightly ink brush and blend/tap color onto the 5x7" piece of CS as well as each of the diecuts. You should create a textured look in places.
Using the blender pens, color 3 of the pearls.
Using the spritzer, color three of the small paper flowers as well as the larger flower.
Allow all the pieces 10-15 minutes to thoroughly dry.
Once the ink on the 5x7" piece of CS is dry, lay the artistic mask down. Use a small piece of washi tape to hold it in place. Using a pallet knife, smear a layer of shimmery embossing paste over the mask. Scrape any excess paste off and return it to the jar.
Set the background piece aside, for 10-15 minutes, to allow the paste to dry.
Once the embossing paste is dry, you will use the multi-purpose glue to adhere:
* The three diamonds randomly on the background.
* The line of hearts to the bottom left of the background.
* 2 leaves and 2 small hearts to the top of the bird cage.
* 3 pearls to the bottom of the bird cage.
* 2 leaves behind the larger heart.
Adhere the bird cage to the background using mini dimensionals.
Using glue, you will tuck the heart & leaves under the top of the bird cage.
Building and attaching the floral bouquet to the bottom left-hand corner of the bird cage is the final steps. Using glue attach:
* The remaining leaves.
* The largest flower (use enough glue to hold it in place).
* Arrange the remaining flowers in a pleasing way.
Adhere the completed project to the back of the frame using tear & tape. Put the frame back together and enjoy!
