Trendy Autumn Leaf Card |
|
A fun card full of the latest trend in rich fall colors and embossed textures.
|
Before starting - several hours or the night before dye the Whisper White Solid Baker's Twine. Add several drops of Pretty Peacock reinker drops into a small plastic container. Add a couple of tablespoons of rubbing alcohol to the container and stir to mix. Cut about a foot (12") of twine for each card you will make. Dip the twine into the alcohol and ink solution. Let it absorb for about 5 minutes, occasionally turning the string to let it soak evenly. Drain the string for a few minutes on paper towel. After the string has dried enough not to drip, hang to dry (like over the shower curtain rod.)

Layer the smaller leaves on top of the larger leaves.
Lay down tare-n-tape on both sides of the banner.
Lay the ribbon over the top of the tear & tape and loop back and forth. Adjust to center the ribbon and firmly press into the tape.
Use large glue dots to adhere the tag onto the center of the ribbon.
Stamp the leaf onto the bottom right of the envelop and Whisper White insert. Glue the insert into the card.
