Die cut a Top Note with Pink Pirouette cardstock.
Die cut the top half of the Top Note using Real Red cardstock.
Die cut a full Top Note using Whisper White cardstock.
Punch two of the birds from Whisper White cardstock using the Bird Builder punch.
Cut the brim of the hat and the top edge of the beard from the white Top Note. I lightly traced the edge of a bowl to get the shape I wanted.
Emboss the beard section of the Top Note using the embossing folder.
Emboss the hat brim and the birds using the embossing folder.
Adhere the hat brim to the red Top Note section and trim the red using the white edge of the brim as a guide.
Use a sponge dauber with the Pink Pirouette ink to add some cheek blush just below the mid-line of the diecut.
Punch out a nose from Pink Pirouette using the small oval punch. Sponge the edges with the Pink Pirouette ink.
Adhere the beard to the bottom section of the Pink Pirouette Top Note.
Adhere the red hat section to the top of the Pink Pirouette Top Note.
Punch the tail section of the hat in Real Red cardstock using the Petite Pennants punch.
Adhere the pennant punch to the back of the hat area so that extends a bit off the right side of the hat.
Adhere the Santa to the black card base.
Attach the birds overlapping the heads at the center top of the beard.
Adhere the nose so that it is covering the overlapping bird heads.
Punch two eyes from black cardstock using the 1/2" circle punch.
Adhere the eyes above the nose. Draw highlights on the eyes using the Chalk marker.
Punch a 3/4" circle from Whisper White. Adhere at the end of the pennant punch to create the pompom for Santa's hat.
Punch two large ovals from Old Olive cardstock.
Draw the outline of holly on the Old Olive ovals and cut out. If you're feeling feisty you can cut out the leaves free-hand.
Sponge the edges of the holly leaves using Old Olive ink.
Adhere the leaves to Santa's hat.
Punch three 1/2" circles in Real Red cardstock. Adhere them over the bottoms of the holly leaves to create the berries.
With the Two-Way glue pen, highlight the bottom edge of the hat brim, the bottoms of the berries, the pompom, and the top and bottom of Santa's moustache. Sprinkle the Dazzling Diamonds glitter over the glue to give him some extra highlights.
