To A Wild Rose |
|
A lovely card using the To A Wild Rose stamp set and Wild Rose dies along with the Heirloom Frames dies and coordinating Heirloom Embossing Folders
|
|
Cut base card 5.5 x 8.5, score at 4.25 and fold to make a top fold A2 card
Cut a 4 x 5.25 piece of Woven Threads DSP and attach to card front with Snail adhesive
Stamp the outline of the large flower from To A Wild Rose stamp set with Blueberry Bushel ink.
Stamp the full background using Seaside Spray ink stamped off once to make it lighter
Stamp the detail layer of the flower with full strength Seaside Spray.
Stamp the center cluster with Terra Cotta ink.
Stamp the leaves with Old Olive stamping the detail portion first with full strength color then stamp the fill background with Old Olive stamped off once first.
Cut these out using the Big Shot and the Wild Rose dies.
Use the Heirloom dies oval to cut an oval from a piece of Whisper White card stock.
Save the center oval piece
Using removable adhesive attach the center piece from the cut out oval frame to the center of the embossing folder. This will give you something to keep the die cut piece centered and give a clean die image that is centered as it should be.
Now you can use that center oval to line up the die cut piece in the folder and emboss it with the Big Shot
Once embossed I attached the frame with Dimensionals
I then took the oval from the center and using Stamping Brush lightly added some blue background using Blueberry Bushel ink pad.
I then stamped the sentiment from Lovely Is The Day stamp set with Blueberry Bushel ink and attached it with Snail into the center opening of the frame.
Attach the flower and leaves and you're done.
