Sponge Dapper Denim, Marina Mist, Soft Sky and Smokey Slate onto 1/2 sheet of Whisper White Card Stock
Stamp tree leaves/hydrangea flower image from Thourghtful Branches stamp set onto sponged paper 3 times.
Stamp single leaf image five times onto Whisper White Card Stock using Mint Macaroon
Die cut all 3 flower images using your Big Shot, Magnetic Platform and the corresponding thinlits dies.
Die cut all 5 leaf images using your Big Shot, Magnetic Platform and the corresponding thinlits dies.
***For best results use the magnetic platform to avoid the dies from moving on the platform before they cut the stamped image
Cut piece of Whisper White Card Stock to 4" wide by 5" tall.
Stamp the sentiment as stamped in the image with Smokey Slate and then, using your Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, stamp the sentiment in Dapper Denim making it appear offset.
Using Stampin' Dimensionals (I cut them smaller to fit in behind the die-cuts) place flowers on cardstock in a similar arrangement to the image.
Using Snail Adhesive, attach the leaves in a similar pattern as shown in the image. For a little extra interest and dimension, leave the one leaf hanging over the edge of the card that is on the right side.
IMPORTANT - Be sure not to trim the die cuts until they are all placed on the card front.
Adhere 3 Rhinestone embellishments just up and to the right of the sentiment to add some dimension and interest.
Set card front to the side and out of the way of it falling into ink or any other supplies that might damage it.
Using Stampin' Trimmer, cut a card base from Soft Sky Card Stock (5.5" tall x 8.5" wide - half of a piece of 8.5 x 11 card stock cut on the shorter width of the paper)
Use the scoring blade of the Stampin' Trimmer to score the fold of the card. Fold and set aside.
Using Stampin' Trimmer cut a piece of Dapper Denim card stock as a layer between the card base and card front. (4 1/8" x 5 1/8" - these markers are very clearly laid out on the Stampin' Trimmer, which makes it such a useful tool in your craft room)
Using the blue coloured Washie Tape from the Moroccon series attach a piece just slightly in from the open edge of the card base and then tear the ends to look scraggly.
Using Snail Adhesive, attach the Dapper Denim piece of card stock to the Soft Sky card stock base lining it up centre as best as you can.
Then repeat with Snail Adhesive to attach the card front to the Dapper Denim piece lining it up centre as best as you can.
Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock for the inside (4 1/8" x 5 1/8")
Stamp the inside sentiment using Marina Mist
Stamp the taller trees image using Smokey Slate
Using Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, stamp the leaves onto the trees using Mint Macaroon.
Stamp a single bird flying using Soft Sky
Attach inside sentiment piece to the inside of the card base using Snail Adhesive lining up centre as best as you can.
Cut a piece of Soft Subtles DSP paper or a matching cardstock colour if you wish to 8" x 8" using your Stampin' Trimmer
Line up the top left corner of your paper with the 3.5" score line mark to the left of the punch on your Envelope Punch Board.
Score from the punch following the guide channel down.
Punch the paper notch.
*** Turn the paper 90 degrees (not 45 degrees - I've done this a few times) and line up the left corner with 3.5 inches
Score from the punch following the guide down once again.
Punch the paper notch again.
Using the score line indicator to the lower left of the punch as your reference point, score from the punch following the guide channel down to the right.
Again... Flip 90 Degrees and repeat this step.
Fold in the side flaps of the envelope and use Snail Adhesive on the bottom edges of the side flaps.
Press down to adhere.
