Thanks for Everything
A quick and easy card with a fun technique! I did the painter's tape technique on this card. I "stamped" the stripes with different ink colors with pieces of painter's tape.
Cardbase (Crumb Cake) top fold
Accent piece (Whisper White) 5 1/4" x 4"
Greeting (Whisper White) 3" x 2"
Greeting accent (Crumb Cake) 3 1/4" x 2 1/4"
You will need a piece of painter's tape for each color. Measure your piece to be longer than the piece you are stamping onto. For my card I needed a piece at least 4", so I used a pieces about 6" long. This gave me room to grip the ends of the tape without getting ink on my fingers.
Put your accent piece onto a scrap piece of paper (or a Stampin Grid paper). Add ink to your first piece of tape, making sure to add ink at an area wider than your cardstock.
Place your first piece of tape onto your cardstock piece. Rub the back to get as much ink off the tape as possible and slowly lift off the tape. Be careful to not pull up the carstock with your tape.
Continue across your card with each ink color. The card shown has the colors (from left to right) Watermelon Wonder, Peekaboo Peach, Pear Pizazz, and Chocolate Chip.
Stamp your greeting onto the Whisper White paper then adhere onto the Greeting Accent piece.
Using dimensionals attach the greeting to the top half of the card front (centered side to side).
Wrap ribbon around the front of the card front. Attach each end at the back using a glue dot. Tie another piece onto the wrapped ribbon piece to creat a flat bow look.
Using Dimensionals attach the cardfront to the cardbase.
