Cut card stock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Crumb Cake Card Stock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of orange cake slices, blue candles, and tan forks on white background from Party Animal Designer Series Paper
- 3-1/2" x 3-3/4" from Crumb Cake Card Stock
- 2-1/4" x 3" from Whisper White Thick Card Stock (if you don't have the thick card stock, you can use regular white card stock, the thick holds up better to watercoloring)
- 3/4" x 5-1/2" from Tangerine Tango Card Stock
- cake slice cut from scrap of orange cake slices, blue candles, and tan forks on white background from Party Animal Designer Series Paper
Adhere the large piece of Party Animal Designer Series Paper to the front of the Crumb Cake card.
Mount the truck image from the Tasty Trucks Photopolymer Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Basic Gray Archival Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Crumb Cake rectangle about 3/4" from the top. Make sure the top edge is one of the 3-1/2" edges. Do not remove the stamp.
Ink up the truck image again with the Basic Gray Archival Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Whisper White Thick Card Stock rectangle.
Cut a 4-1/2" piece of Calypso Coral Thick Baker's Twine.
Lay the twine piece across the top of the stamped Crumb Cake rectangle. Flip the rectangle over and fold the ends of the twine over. Adhere them in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive across the ends.
Adhere the stamped piece of Crumb Cake card stock with the twine attached to the right side of the card front so the top is even with the top of the designer paper layer and the right side is about 1/2" in from the right side.
Cut a 9" piece of Calypso Coral Thick Baker's Twine. Tie it in a small bow. Attach the bow to the right side of the twine on the card front using a Mini Glue Dot. Trim the ends.
Open the Banner Triple Punch and hold it upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide one end of the skinny strip of Tangerine Tango card stock into the punch and center the point of the punch on the strip so you are punching off about 1/4" of the strip. Punch.
Slide the other end of the skinny Tangerine Tango strip into the punch. Center the point of the punch on the strip so you are again punching off only about 1/4". Punch. You should have a strip with notched ends that is about 5" long.
Without adhering the notched strip, lay it on the card front so about 1/4" of the Crumb Cake rectangle is peeking out below it.
Mount the "Happy Birthday Now Where's The Cake?!?" sentiment on Block G. Use the side of the brush tip of the Pacific Point Marker to ink up only the words "Now Where's The Cake?!?" Breathe on the stamp to make sure the ink is moist and stamp the sentiment in the center of the Tangerine Tango strip so it is centered directly below the stamped image of the truck. Clean the stamp with Stampin' Mist and the Stampin' Scrub.
When you are happy with your stamping, adhere the stamped Tangerine Tango strip in place with SNAIL.
Adhere a Pacific Point star shape from the Brights Enamel Shapes on each end of the Tangerine Tango strip.
Use the brush tip of the Tangerine Tango Marker to ink up only the words "Happy Birthday" on the sentiment stamp. Breathe on the stamp to make sure the ink is moist. Stamp the sentiment in the center of the center stripe of the truck stamped on the Whisper White Thick Card Stock.
Squeeze the lid of the Crushed Curry Ink Pad to get a pool of ink in the lid. Open the pad but leave the lid exposed. Use a Blender Pen to pick up some ink from the puddle in the lid and color in the the reflectors, gas cap, hubcaps, headlight, and window frames on the truck stamped on the Whisper White Thick Card Stock. Pick up more ink from the pad lid as needed. Remember to stroke the tip of the Blender Pen in one direction only. If you go back and forth, then the card stock could start to pill and tear. Make some areas darker for a shading effect. When you are done coloring with the Crushed Curry color, scribble the tip of the Blender Pen back and forth on scratch paper until no more color is coming off.
Repeat the step above using the Tangerine Tango Ink Pad. Color in the skinny stripes on the window canopy. Clean the Blender Pen.
Repeat the steps above using the Pacific Point Ink Pad. Color in the bottom stripe of the truck and the fat stripes on the window canopy. Clean the Blender Pen.
Repeat the steps above using the Basic Gray Archival Ink Pad. Color in the tires. Clean the Blender Pen.
Use the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to color in the two front windows and give them some shimmer.
Cut out the truck image using Paper Snips.
Cut one layer of the cake slice off the bottom of the cake slice you cut out of the Party Animal Designer Series Paper.
Adhere the trimmed down cake slice in the serving window of the truck.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the colored truck image over the image of the truck stamped on the Crumb Cake rectangle.
