Sweet Strawberry Mini Curvy Keepsake Boxes |
F un treat boxes made with Stampin' Up! products including one that can be earned for FREE during Sale-A-Bration 2021.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- 5-1/2" square from Poppy Parade or Granny Apple Green Cardstock
- 5-1/2" square of one of the designs with strawberries from Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper
- 1-3/4" x 3-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1" x 3-1/4" from Granny Apple Green Cardstock
Put Stampin' Seal+ all over the back side of the Berry Delightful Designer Paper square. Adhere it to the square of cardstock.
Pick out the four-pointed box die from the Many Curvy Keepsakes Box Dies. Put it on top of the designer paper/cardstock square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered. Run through the machine a couple of times.
Fold on all score lines. Use a Bone Folder to get sharp creases. Also use the Bone Folder to gently curve the four points inwards.
Bring the two points with handles together in the center so the handles are touching and pointing up. Slide the slit in one of the other points over the handles and lock in place. Fill the box with treats. Slide the slit in the remaining point over the handles and lock in place.
As you are ready to stamp using the Sweet Strawberry Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of paper (Grid Paper works great) on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the solid strawberry image from the Sweet Strawberry Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad. Stamp once onto Grid Paper. WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp it on one end of the horizontal white strip so the wider part of the berry is on the bottom.
Mount the outline strawberry image from the Sweet Strawberry Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad. Stamp it over the previously stamped solid strawberry image so the edges line up.
Unlock the Strawberry Builder Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped strawberry into the punch and get it centered in the strawberry punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Mount the "Just For You" sentiment from the Sweet Strawberry Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it inside the strawberry punch out so it is near the pointy bottom of the strawberry.
Mount the outline, leaf cap image from the Sweet Strawberry Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the horizontal Granny Apple Green strip so it is oriented the same way as the coordinating punching area in the Strawberry Builder Punch.
Slide the stamped leaf cap image into the unlocked Strawberry Builder Punch and get it centered in the leaf cap punching area. Punch.
Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the leaf cap punch out to the top of the strawberry. Try not to get too much adhesive near the top of the leaf cap and don't cover the sentiment.
Use the handheld small hole punch to punch a hole in the top of the strawberry with leaf cap.
Cut a 5" piece of Silver 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon.
Thread the ribbon through the handles in the top of the box. Then, thread one end of the ribbon through the small hole punched in the top of the strawberry with leaf cap punch out.
Tie the ribbon in place using a knot. Trim the ends.
