Sweet Candy Canes Tags On Canes |
T ags for candy canes made with Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- 1-3/4" x 3" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 3-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
Mount the "candy cane wishes and mistletoe kisses" sentiment from the Sweet Candy Canes Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 1-3/4" x 3" white rectangle.
Pick out the tag with holes on the ends die from the Candy Canes Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off the right edge of the tag cut out so you have a straight line.
Cut an 8" piece of the White 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon.
Stack two candy canes on top of each other so they criss-cross. Wrap the ribbon around them about halfway down. Slide the tag onto the ribbon and tie in place with a knot. Trim the ends of the ribbon.
Mount the leafy sprig image from the Sweet Candy Canes Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it two times on the remaining white strip. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time and leave space between the images to cut them out with the dies.
Pick out both leaf dies from the Candy Canes Dies. Put them both on the leaf sprig stamped white strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so they are centered over the images. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the leaf cut outs to the left side of the tag as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a large jewel from a sheet of Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the left side of the tag over the stems of the leaf sprigs.
