Cut the bases for this card using Thick Whisper White cardstock.
1. 15cm x 27cm Score at 15cm, 18cm, 23cm
& 26cm
2. 15cm x 8.5cm Score at 1cm and 4cm
3. 10cm x 7.5cm This piece is to stamp on
Burnish all score lines to make them crisp.
Cut out Designer Series Paper of your choice, I used Stampin Up's Incolour Paper Stack in Sweet Sugarplum.
1 piece 14.5cm x 14.5 cm
1 piece 14.5cm x 4.5cm
1 piece of Sweet Sugarplum cardstock for the frame 10.5cm x 8cm
Adhere your large square of Designer Series Paper to the top square of the largest piece, leaving a small white border around.
On your two folded pieces of white card, place sticky strip of adhesive of your choice as shown close to the fold lines on the 1cm fold on each piece
On the largest piece of folded cardstock, fold back the 1cm strip and adhere to card as shown in photo. You can lay the card flat on the second fold and simply adhere in a straight line. Now you should have a box at the bottom.
Now on the smaller piece of white card lay the bottom flat so the designer series paper is at the bottom. Centre the base of the white piece as per the photo and lay flat with the 1cm piece tucked under at the top. Adhere. Then on the under side of this piece run some liquid adhesive just along the bottom and glue in place making sure it is straight and lays flat.
Stamp and decorate the design on to the small white piece. then adhere to the Sweet Sugarplum cardstock. Stamp a sentiment and adhere.
I started with a wash of Sweet Sugarplum across the background using a wet Aqua Painter.
I coloured in the design using markers in Sweet Sugarplum and Hello Honey. Then placed a Rhinestone in the centre of the flowers.
Tie a bow around using Sweet Sugarplum Rouched Ribbon and tie a knot.
