Stampin' Up! Forever Greenery Friendship Card |
T
his suite is SO pretty! I have been hoarding it. For me, it's just one of those that you have to take out and look at all of the elements a few times to get past the prettiness and wrap your mind around the possibilities. I should have just jumped in and started creating simple things, but I just got so overwhelmed. It finally all came together for me, though, with this card. I love how it's so easy to create something so elegant!
So, in the video I struggle a little with the sentiment. In my sample, I used two different die sets, but I wanted to streamline for you and just use one. I finally figured it out, but I used a little trick that allows you to adjust the size of the element cut out by a die, to better fit your stamp set. I really think I should have made the die-cut a little taller so that it would go with the gold banners a little better. They don't quite fit. Below is my sample card. That staggered height between the banner and the sentiment piece is what I was going for. It's a really fun technique. Check out my video and then try it yourself. Let me know how it goes! It really opens up a lot of possibilities for your creativity.
