Cardstock Sizes:
11" x 4 1/4" Basic Black
4" x 5 1/4" Peaceful Poppies DSP
2" x 4" Basic Black
2 3/4" strip Real Red (poppy base die-cut)
2 3/4" strip Poppy Parade (poppy top layer die-cut)
1 1/2" strip Old Olive (leaf base)
1 1/2: strip Pear Pizzazz (leaf top layer)
1 3/4" strip Basic Black (flower centers & sentiment layer)
2 1/2" x 1 1/2" Whisper White (sentiment)
Score the 11" x 4 1/4" Basic Black cardstock at 5 1/2" and burnish the score lines.
Glue down the 4" x 5 1/4" Peaceful Poppies DSP to the center of the card base.
Die-cut all your pieces using the Poppy Moments Dies for the flowers and glue them together. I just put glue on the center of the poppy and not the outer edges. Glue the leaves together as well.
Stamp the sentiment onto the center of the 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" Whisper White cardstock using the Rich Razzleberry ink. Die-cut the sentiment and the Basic Black layer using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Glue the sentiment to the Basic Black layer.
Glue down the 2" x 4" Basic Black cardstock to the left side of the DSP layer.
Glue the leaves to the back of the poppies, then glue them down onto the 2" x 4" Basic Black Layer.
Add the sentiment layers to the cardbase using dimensionals.
To create bakers twine in any color, all you need is a Stampin Blend in your desired color and a silicone crafting mat. Just run your Blends along the twine, making sure you are rotating the twine to color all sides. Let this dry for five minutes and it will be ready to use. I always make a little extra colored twine, then I wrap the twine around a small piece of coordinating cardstock to help me know which color it is.
Once the barkers twine is colored, make a bow and adhere with a mini glue dot.
Add three red sequins using mini glue dots.
