So Sentimental Banner Friendship |
P retty, easy cards to celebrate friendship or say thank you using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from either Bumblebee or Magenta Madness Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of small floral design featuring Misty Moonlight and either Bumblebee or Magenta Madness colors from Flowers For Every Season 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" from Misty Moonlight Cardstock
- 2-3/8" x 3-3/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1" x 4" from Misty Moonlight Cardstock
- 1/2" x 3-1/2" from Bumblebee Cardstock
Adhere the rectangle of Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper to the front of either the Bumblebee or Magenta Madness card.
Mount the "your friendship is a blessing" sentiment from the So Sentimental Set on Block H. Ink up the words "your" and "is a blessing" using the brush tip of either the Bumblebee or Magenta Madness Markers depending on the color of the card you are using. Ink up only the "friendship" using the brush tip of the Misty Moonlight Marker. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp in the center of the white vertical rectangle about a 1/2" from the top.
Make sure your cardstock is on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface.
Mount the rough line of confetti pieces image from the So Sentimental Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Misty Moonlight Ink Pad. Stamp it randomly all over the bottom 1-1/4" for the stamped white rectangle. Stamp some of the images without re-inking. Let some of the images go off the edges of the cardstock.
Mount the small triangle of 3 confetti pieces image from the So Sentimental Set on Block A. Ink it up with either the Bumblebee or Magenta Madness Ink Pad depending on the color of the card you used. Stamp it randomly all over the bottom 1-1/4" for the stamped white rectangle. Stamp some of the images without re-inking. Let some of the images go off the edges of the cardstock and let them overlap the previously stamped blue confetti images a bit.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle to the center of the 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" Misty Moonlight rectangle.
Unlock the Banners Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the Misty Moonlight strip into the right side of the punch (the side of the punch with the inward notched top) as far as it will go. Punch. Slide the other short edge into the punch on the same side and punch again.
Unlock the Banners Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the Bumblebee strip into the right side of the punch (the side of the punch with the inward notched top) as far as it will go. Punch. Slide the other short edge into the punch on the same side and punch again.
Adhere the Bumblebee banner strip to the layered white rectangle so it covers the top of the stamped confetti images (about 1" from the bottom) and the ends stick out evenly on either side.
Adhere the layered sentiment rectangle with Bumblebee banner attached to the Misty Moonlight banner so the Bumblebee banner is centered over the Misty Moonlight banner.
Adhere the layered sentiment rectangle with banners attached to the front of the card on the left side.
Cut a 20" piece of Misty Moonlight/silver Baker's Twine from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack.
Fold the twine in half. Tie a small bow in the center of the folded twine. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the twine bow to the center of the Bumblebee banner.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 2 Misty Moonlight dots from a sheet of 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the card front as the dots over the letters "i" in the word "friendship."
