Slim Line Poinsettia Petals |
|
Cut Whisper White CS 8 1/2' x 7"
On the 7" side, score at 3 1/2" and fold in half.
This is the card base
Cut Poinsettia Place DSP 3 1/4" x 7 3/4"
Adhere to card base.
Cut a piece of Gold Foil 2 1/2" x 7 1/2"
Using the Subtle EF, run through your Cut & Emboss machine.
NOTE: this piece will not fit all the way in the EF, I put it in the folder vertically and ran it through, then I turned the foil so the smaller piece not embossed was in the folder. There will be a line there but it will be covered by the poinsettia.
Tie a piece of Snowflake Splendor ribbon around this piece. I tied it so the bow was on the right hand edge.
You are free to adhere to card now or wait till other pieces are placed on it.
Stamp two of the largest poinsettia leaves on Whisper White CS using Soft Suede Ink.
Using Bumblebee ink, I sponged around the middle of the flowers. You do not have to stay in the lines because you will be cutting it out with the die.
Cut out with appropriate poinsettia die.
Using glue dots, place one on top of the other as shown in the photo.
Attach to gold foil paper with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Attach three Champagne rhinestones in middle of flower. (I used one middle size and two small)
Stamp the sentiment (I used May Magic & Wonder bloom this Holiday) on a piece of Whisper White CS with Bumblebee ink and cut out using Stitched so Sweetly Dies.
Attach to Gold Foil with Stampin' Dimensionals
If you haven't already, attach the gold foil to card base with adhesive of choice.
On the inside of the card I stamped the berry branch with Soft Suede ink on the right lower corner
Then, using Bumblebee ink, I stamped the inside of the berries.
I finished off with the sentiment warm wishes from our home to yours in Bumblebee ink.
