Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- 5-1/2" x 11" from Mango Melody Cardstock
- 7/8" x 3-1/8" from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock
- 7/8" x 3-1/8" from Granny Apple Green Cardstock
- 2" x 2-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
Mount the jack o lantern double image from the Seasonal Chums Set on Block I. Ink up only the back of the pumpkin image with the Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it on the Whisper White square. Set it aside to let it dry thoroughly.
Follow the directions printed on the Gift Bag Punch Board for a medium sized bag to punch and score the piece of Mango Melody Cardstock.
Punch the ribbon holes in the top center of the large panels using the back side of the Gift Bag Punch Board punch.
Mount the large burst of fine dots image from the Touches of Texture Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the large panel that has creased small panels on each side.
Squeeze the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to get a large amount of glittery fluid on the brush of the Wink of Stella. Hold it over the large panel that has creased small panels on each side. Flick the end of the Wink of Stella brush to make drops of glittery fluid splatter onto the cardstock. Repeat until you have the coverage you want. Get more glittery fluid on the brush as needed. Vary the height at which you hold the brush over the cardstock to get different sized splatters.
Tip: If you have a Wink of Stella Glitter Brush that is drying up, add some water to the base to re-invigorate it. A brush with water added is perfect for this technique.
Tip: You can protect the panels on either side of the one you are trying to splatter by putting pieces of Grid Paper over them.
Allow the glitter splatters to dry thoroughly before proceeding to the next step.
Fold the stamped and glitter splattered Mango Melody Cardstock along all score lines. Use the scoring tool from the Gift Bag Punch Board to firmly crease the lines. Trim off excess paper as needed with Paper Snips. Assemble the bag using pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive to hold it together.
Fill the bag with treats.
Tip: If you are putting baked goods in the bag, you might want to put a piece of wax paper inside the bag first. This will help protect the paper from any oils in the baked goods.
Cut a 8" piece of Lemon Lime Twist 1/4" Ombre Ribbon.
Poke the ends of the ribbon through the holes in the top of the bag from the FRONT of the bag.
One at a time, cross one end of the ribbon across the back of the bag and back through the opposite hole to the front of the bag. Tighten the ribbon in place, but be careful not to rip the paper. Tie the ribbon ends together with a knot. Trim the ends.
Pick out the rectangle with a vine image down the center thinlit from the Animal Friends Thinlits. Place the Lemon Lime Twist rectangle on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the rectangle with a vine image down the center thinlit on top so it is centered on the cardstock. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces. Throw away the little bits that come out. Keep the rectangle.
Tip: Note that some of the little leaves do NOT completely cut through and come out. They are designed to poke up from the cardstock.
Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the cut Lemon Lime Twist rectangle to the Granny Apple Green rectangle so it is centered.
Adhere the matted vine cut out to the front of the bag about 1/4" up from the bottom.
Pick out the double pumpkin framelit from the Seasonal Tags Framelits. Place the stamped pumpkin image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the double pumpkin framelit on top so the one side is centered over the pumpkin image. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use Paper Snips to trim off any excess cardstock at the top of the cut out pumpkin image including the tag hole tab.
Place the stamped pumpkin cut out on top of some paper on your work surface (Grid Paper works great). You need to make sure that you protect your work surface with paper as the Stampin' Blends Markers do bleed through.
Color in the center of the pumpkin using the Light Mango Melody Stampin' Blends Marker. Use the Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends Marker along the edges. Use the Light Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends Marker to blend the lines toward the center. Use the Dark Mango Melody Stampin' Blends Marker to further blend into the center and add shadows below the vines and leaves. Go over everything again with the Light Mango Melody Marker if needed to blend the lines.
Use the Light Old Olive Stampin' Blends Marker to color in the vines, stem, and leaves. Add shadows with the Dark Old Olive Stampin' Blends Marker. Go over everything again with the Light Marker to blend the lines.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the colored pumpkin cut out to the lower left side of the bag front.
